CertAIn vs HireEZ

HireEZ advances candidates. CertAIn hands you a verdict you can defend.

CertAIn reads the candidates in your pipeline and produces an explainable verdict a human acts on — a fit score with the reasoning behind it, defensible to a hiring manager, a candidate, or a regulator. HireEZ (formerly Hiretual) is an agentic recruiting platform that sources, nurtures, and advances candidates top of funnel. Many teams run both: HireEZ fills and moves the funnel, CertAIn reads it at depth.

Credit where it's due

Where HireEZ is stronger.

  • Sourcing breadth. HireEZ searches across 750M+ profiles (per HireEZ’s published materials) and its EZ Agent surfaces candidates who aren’t in your pipeline yet. If the job is “find people who aren’t applying,” HireEZ is a real answer.
  • Recruitment CRM. Pipeline management, talent rediscovery, nurture — the full relationship layer across a large candidate database.
  • Outreach + sequencing automation. Multi-channel outbound, automated follow-ups, the top-of-funnel messaging machine. Mature, and we don’t build it.
  • Top-of-funnel agentic throughput. HireEZ’s agentic workflow can source, screen, message, and schedule semi-autonomously with recruiter oversight. At volume, that throughput is real.

If your problem is filling and moving the funnel — finding candidates, reaching them, keeping them warm — that’s HireEZ’s job, and they’re good at it. This page is for the next problem: what happens when a human has to defend who advanced and who didn’t.

A verdict a human acts on

Where CertAIn is stronger.

  • Reasoning a human can read, disagree with, and defend. CertAIn produces a fit score and the reasoning behind it, attached to each candidate — so a recruiter reads the verdict, overrides it when they disagree, and can defend the call to a hiring manager, a candidate, or a regulator.
  • The human stays on the decision. CertAIn doesn’t auto-reject or auto-advance at scale. Every verdict is something a recruiter acts on — built to sharpen the person who curates, not to replace them. A deliberate design choice, not a missing feature.
  • Your data stays yours — never pooled. Your candidates aren’t pooled into a shared model; data stays in your tenant and is never used to train shared or cross-customer models, full stop.
  • Compliance answered by architecture. Once an AI screens and advances candidates, you’re in automated-employment-decision-tool territory — the surface NYC Local Law 144 (AEDT) names and the EU AI Act classifies high-risk. CertAIn is built for it from day one: a human acts on every verdict, the reasoning is readable and defensible, every AI action writes to an append-only audit log, and a bias-audit export ships standard. We make no claims about any other vendor’s controls — only about how ours are built.

Migration path

Most teams that run HireEZ should keep running it. HireEZ fills and moves the funnel; CertAIn reads what’s in the pipeline at depth. Candidates land in your ATS of record (Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever) and CertAIn reads them from there — the Greenhouse integration is live now, CSV import/export works day one for other stacks — then AI reasoning flows back as notes on the candidate record. You don’t uninstall HireEZ. You add the layer that produces a verdict a human can defend.

When the fit is sharp

Who should consider CertAIn alongside HireEZ

  • You run HireEZ to source and move candidates, and your next bottleneck is reading the people in your pipeline at depth
  • You want a recruiter on the decision — a verdict they can read, override, and defend — not an agent that advances candidates for them
  • Your legal team is asking how an AI screening tool holds up under AEDT or the EU AI Act, and you want human oversight and a bias-audit export by architecture, not as a roadmap item
  • You want one append-only audit trail for every AI action that touches a candidate’s advancement
  • You’d rather your candidate data stay in your tenant than feed a shared data network

Take CertAIn for a run on a real JD.
