Terms of service.
Effective: 2026-04-19 · Version: 0.1 (pre-launch stub). Final Terms, reviewed by outside counsel, will replace this document by Q3 2026.
These Terms govern your use of CertAIn (certainhr.ai and app.certainhr.ai), operated by Jon Senger pending business-entity formation (“CertAIn,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account you agree to these Terms.
1. Free trial
30-day free trial from verification. 100 AI credits included. No payment method required. At day 30, AI actions pause; your account and data remain accessible. No automatic conversion to a paid plan.
2. Paid plans
Starter ($99/mo · 300 credits), Growth ($249/mo · 1,000 credits), Pro ($499/mo · 2,500 credits). Credits reset monthly and do not carry over. Billing through Stripe in USD. Cancel anytime from Settings → Billing; no retention requirement.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use CertAIn to: make fully automated hiring decisions (the product does not support this by design); submit candidate data you are not authorized to process; reverse engineer the service; resell access without a written reseller agreement.
4. Your data
You retain all rights to candidate data you submit. CertAIn processes it to provide the service under the tenant isolation and retention policies described on /security and in the Data Processing Addendum (/legal/dpa).
5. AI outputs
Every AI output produced by CertAIn is a recommendation for a human reviewer, not an automated decision. You are responsible for human review of any output used in a hiring decision.
6. Termination
Either party may terminate at any time from Settings → Billing. Upon termination, your data remains exportable for 30 days, then deleted per the retention policy on /security.
7. Liability
Service provided as-is. CertAIn’s liability for any claim is capped at the fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. CertAIn is not liable for hiring decisions made by you or your tenant.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be emailed to the account owner at least 14 days before effective date.
9. Governing law
Florida law. Venue: state or federal courts in Pinellas County, Florida, or the federal Middle District of Florida.
